Pumpkin Festivals Could Sprout Like Pumpkins

There's talk of a pumpkin festival coming to Hampton Beach.

Hampton Beach was one of the locations looking to land the 'Pumpkin Festival' that just recently went to Laconia.

But, according to an article at Seacoast online, that isn't stopping a group of local beach business owners who are envisioning a Hampton Beach Fall Fest as early as 2016.

Tom McGuirk is a local restaurateur and realtor, and would like to get a committee together to organize a festival in the fall that would have "the Hampton Beach spin on it".

A previous fall festival organized by the Hampton Beach Village District featuring a farmers market only lasted a couple of years.
