Rally For Clean Energy In Portsmouth Tonight With Ben Cohen Of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream

Tonight at the South Church in Portsmouth there will be a rally for clean energy. According to Seacoast Online, Portsmouth Mayor, Robert Lister, and Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, will both speak in support of the Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Power Plan.

Decreasing carbon pollution, creating jobs, renewable energy, and energy efficiency will be some of the topics discussed at the rally.

The rally is sponsored by the Climate Action Coalition and starts at 5:30PM at the South Church for the speakers followed by a march to Market Square at 6PM.
