Recent Dog Theft Attempts in Grantham NH

Keep your dogs in sight at all times! WMUR-TV has a very alarming report out of Sullivan County and it should have pet owners thinking twice about letting their dogs roam free, even for a few seconds.

I chose this adorable pit bull terrier as the featured image because, sure enough, a group of pit bulls was the first confirmed target of attempted dognappings in Grantham.

Apparently a car pulled over to a group of four pit bulls with a bag of dog food as the bait and the driver whistled in an attempt to lure one of them from their yard into the passenger seat.

Luckily, the dogs remained still and the car drove off.

The car in question was a 2 door red Honda Civic with tinted windows and out of state license plates.

I can't even imagine the pain of losing a pet, let alone to a dog fighting ring.
