Reconstruction Of Silver Street In Dover To Resume

Work will resume on Monday, April 11.

The reconstruction of Silver Street will start with restoring the sidewalks on April 11th.

The road itself is expected to be worked on beginning Monday, April 18th and work will continue perhaps until the end of May.

This work will include the raising of the manhole covers for the drainage and sewer systems. Those are always fun to dodge when they are raised above the existing paved surface.

You should know that traffic patterns will vary depending on the work zones in the area. Take note of the detour signs, and of course pay attention to the flagmen while they are directing you through the work zone.
