Red Sox Players Respond to ‘Sandoval’s Too Fat’ Critics with Funny Pose

After an embarrassingly bad angled picture of Red Sox 3rd baseman Pablo Sandoval circled the internet, teammates decided to have a little fun with the hysteria and tweeted a picture of them sporting a familiar pose.

Not the most flaterring picture of the new 3rd baseman. But it's all about angles right? We've all been the victim of a bad picture (see double chin, uni-brow, wrinkles, bad hair, and blinking). All you can do is laugh...and demand another picture!

It's good to see the players loosen up and mock the ridiculous notion that because Sandoval has a gut he can't play ball. The guy hasnt even played a game yet and people are already freaking out. Let's wait and see if he cracks one over the right field wall before we start questioning the man's diet.

And the fun doesn't stop with a #PandaPose. Sandoval has now challenged Silva, the man responsible for the incriminating picture, to join him in a workout.

The Boston photographer has reportedly told the team he'll accept the challenge.
