A wonderful website allows us to take a 'run' down some ski trails that only exist in our memories.

Skiing vacation

I recently stumbled upon a website called 'Lost Ski Areas of New Hampshire' and was immediately taken back to my earliest days of skiing.

The website has a bunch of information on many ski areas that are long since closed, but I'm sure have many fond memories for many of you.

While I was attending Oyster River Middle School in the late 70's, I remember school organized Friday night ski trips to Moose Mountain in Brookfield. It was the perfect size mountain to learn to ski.

On a few occasions, we would ski King Ridge in New London. It's claim to fame was having the base lodge at the top of the mountain.

I found myself getting lost in all the info to be found here, and finding many memories of ski trips that I hadn't thought of for years.

Perhaps you'll do the same.
