Remove The ‘Aluminum Taste’ From Your Canned Beer With The Draft Top [VIDEO]

You have heard people say that beer in a can tastes like aluminum, right? I certainly have, and clearly these dudes from Jersey have too. Their invention, The Draft Top, solves that problem.

As I understand it, the small mouth on the top of the can that you drink out of, doesn't allow the aroma of the beer to escape the can and enter your nostrils, so you don't really smell the beer when drinking it, you actually are smelling the aluminum can because your nose is pressed right up against it, therefore making it seem like the beer has an aluminum flavor to it.

Their solution: Remove the top of the beer can. They invented an apparatus that does just that and it's called the Draft Top.

When the top of the can is removed, the aroma of the beer is released and your beer won't taste like aluminum. The Draft Top doesn't leave sharp edges, so you don't have to worry about cutting your lips with every sip.

Pretty cool, not sure it's something I NEED, but I'd give it a whirl.

As of now, their Kickstarter campaign has raised over $124,000 with 15 days to go. Their goal was $75,000.
