The event will offer the public free disposal of expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs this Saturday, September 26 from 10am to 2pm at the Dover police station at 46 Locust Street.

The service is free, anonymous, and there will be no questions asked.

The misuse of prescription drugs is especially becoming a problem for the younger generations, as according to surveys, one in five New Hampshire high school students have used a prescription drug that wasn't prescribed to them.

Dover has participated in the event since 2010. For more information, you can check out the Drug Enforcement Administration's website, as well as visit our friends at the Dover Coalition for Youth.
