Maggot Destroys Little League Bleachers

Here it is. Another day, another story of vandals doing thousands of dollars worth of damage, this time to the bleachers at the Somersworth Little League fields to the tune of $7,000.

What is it with all the recent acts of vandalism in the area? If it's not the grave sites in the local cemeteries, including Barrington and Somersworth, it's now the ball fields.

I'm not immune to the boyhood joys of inflicting a little toilet paper decoration or pumpkin thievery in the name of good-natured hi-jinx, but the heartlessness of these punks is setting the bar pretty low.

Soon after Aaron and I brought up this unfortunate situation, we were contacted via e-mail by James Spinelli, who is spearheading the effort to replace the damaged bleachers.
