The Firefighters in Somersworth are holding their annual toy bank drive to help those families in need.

According to a press release, the firefighters are requesting new unwrapped toys for kids up to age 14 years old and are in the most need of bicycles, toys for 11 to 14 year olds, sporting equipment, and gift cards which they can use to purchase specific gifts that were not among the donations.

Donation drop-off locations around the city are at the Fire Station, Cross Insurance, Seacoast Orthopedics, Cricket Wireless, Ortho and Sport Therapy, Seacoast Physiatry, Rehab 3, Hilltop Chevrolet, Service Credit union, Walmart and Wentworth Hospice.

You can also sign up for gift requests at the fire station Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Firefighters will be holding a Stuff-A-Truck event at Somersworth Wal-Mart on Sunday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

They will be holding their annual volunteer toy wrapping party on Friday, Dec. 15, from 6 p.m. until all toys are wrapped. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
