Spun Records in Dover to Close

This is sad news as there will be one less vinyl shop in the area.

Spun owner Mark Matarozzo posted the news on Facebook. There is no closing date given, but it will be sometime in early August.

According to an article at Fosters.com:

There were a number of factors that went into his decision to close, such as not having regular hours at the shop this year after Matarozzo began working production jobs at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom and the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford. Each week the hours changed and the store might close unexpectedly.

 

Spun Records opened in 2011 on Central Avenue  in Dover, and has been at the current location on Grove Street for the past year or so.

There is a sale going on heading into the final days. You can find used records marked down 30 percent, DVD's, CD's, VHS and cassettes are 50 percent off.
