Starbuck Sandwiches Recalled

The sandwiches were made from Progressive Gourmet Inc., a Wilmington MA. company.

These are 6-ounce packages of sausage, egg, and cheese on English muffin breakfast sandwiches.

According to Food Safety News.com:

The recalled sandwiches are individually packed clear plastic packages and can be identified with the “best before” date of Aug. 7, 2016.

The Food and Drug Administration reports that Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, elderly or frail people.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the product.

If you have recently bought this product, you are asked to return them to the place of purchase.
