Boy, just when I was going to call her.

It's the story of my life. Just when I'm single, they're either taken or in this case, giving up on dating.

Back in the day, I had a crush on Carly Simon. But she happened to be married to some guy named James Taylor. And then I turned my attention to Linda Ronstadt. She decided to live in sin with Jerry Brown who happened to be Governor of California at the time.

So, I then turned my attention to Stevie Nicks, the 3rd of my 70's "rock babes' trinity. She had just broken up with Lindsey Buckingham, but then was rumored to be toiling with Don Henley, Tom Petty, and as it turns out, bandleader Mick Fleetwood.

Now, I find myself unencumbered, Ms. Nicks as well, so here's my chance. Then she tells Rolling Stone, she's narrowed the field of romantic prospects "down to nobody."

Sadly it appears she's giving up on dating. It's a shame we were never single at the same time.

That, and the fact that she has no idea who I am, and might call the authorities if I called her more than twice.
