If something bad happens to you, most 'freinds' won't even give it a thought.

The study, conducted by Professor of Evolutionary Psychology at Oxford University Robin Dunbar, attempted to assertain the connectionbetween whether people have a lot of real friends and Facebook friends.

The study found that having friends on social media does not mean you talk to them on a regular basis, and most likely can't depend on them.

People who participated in the study had near 150 Facebook friends on the average. Yet close to only 14 of them would reach out and express care if something bad happened to them.

The numbers indicate how friendships work outside of the Facebook world, in other words, real life. The study indicated that people with a large number of Facebook friends can be fooled into thinking they might have more close friends than they really do.

Try an experiment. Hit your Facebook friends up for cash and see how many respond.
