Study Shows Dogs Snub Mean People

A recently released study says dogs do not like people who are not nice to their owners.

Dogs will also refuse food given to them by those same people.

The study took place in Japan, and was led by Kazuo Fujita. The researchers tested groups of dogs engaging in role plays that involved their owners needing help completing a task.

In some of the situations, the owners were helped by people, and in other situations, the dog's owners were rebuffed by the people.

"Dogs that saw their owner being rebuffed were far more likely to choose food from the neutral observer, and to ignore the offer from the person who had refused to help, Fujita said."

How many more reasons do you need to love dogs! People are mean to you, your dog is mean to them. You hate somebody, more than likely your dog will hate them too.
