Sharknado

Every year we ask ourselves how Sharknado might up the ante, and you don’t get much bigger than the full Independence Day. Watch Global Swarming send sharks after the world’s landmarks in a first teaser for Syfy’s fifth (!) Sharknado film.

Global Warming remains a very real threat to the world, but minor bright side – we don’t have flying sharks to deal with (yet). Not so for Sharknado, which winds into a fifth movie with a new Global Swarming subtitle, and a list of cameos from Fabio, to Tony Hawk, Kathy Lee Gifford and even a Game of Thrones White Walker.

If nothing else, Sharknado fans would surely tune into fourth Syfy installment The 4th Awakens to learn the fate of Tara Reid’s April, but why wait? Syfy has revealed the answer weeks ahead of the premiere, and no red witch can resurrect Sharknado out of this one.

Looks like Tara Reid is going to ride the Sharknado tidal wave to the very last drop.

The SyFy channel is celebrating the premiere of 'Sharknado 2' with an entire week dedicated to shark related programming.  Sound familiar?  This is quite different from 'Shark Week' on Discovery though.  SyFy is dubbing this the biggest week ever, and the schedule includes such classics as 'Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus' and 'Dinoshark,' along with many other hot titles.
