Check out the Fish Family oak tree.  We had it delivered and planted this past weekend.  This mighty oak is a gift from my parents and will be home to the ashes of all the family pets we have had.

I'm sure many people go through the same thing.  You don't know what to do with or where to store the ashes of previous pets.  I have four containers of ashes sitting on top of a bureau and until now, we didn't know what to do with them.

Our plan is to mix the ashes in with the soil at the base of the tree.  We will also have some sort of marker next to the tree identifying the pets.  This is a great way for us to remember our pets and keep them close, lets just hope we don't get into some sort of 'Pet Cemetery' situation.
