The Gunstock Mountain Coaster Is Open

This coaster looks like a must-ride!

Gunstock started this project last year, and it is now officially open.

The Mountain Coaster starts near the summit and is about a 6-7 minute ride to the bottom.

The track has a couple of hair-pin turns. Each car has a braking mechanism that can be operated by the rider, so you can control your own speed.

I wonder if you can go the entire ride without hitting the brakes? I'm afraid I might have to try that.

The coaster will be open year round so you'll be able to take in the wonderful views of Gunstock and Lake Winnipesaukee each season.
