Barry Scott interviews Aretha Franklin tonight! Yes, this is really happening. 

The Queen of Soul covered Elton John's 'The Border Song' on her album 'Young, Gifted and Black' which was released early in 1972. It charted better than the original which can be found on Elton's eponymous breakthough album.

I have already listened to this entire interview (I'm not supposed to) and I can tell you this interview is terrific. If Barry Scott's 'Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Interviews' had a Hall of Fame, this episode would easily be the first inductee!
