Yet, the major heist allegedly went unreported for days.

According to NECN, Newington Police Chief Michael Bilodeau says the department is investigating a major theft at the local Victoria's Secret. The crime, inside the Fox Run Mall isn't very cut and dry, as few details are available. For one, the crime wasn't reported for a number of days. Victoria's Secret employees tell Newington police that $6,514 worth of undergarments were stolen between Oct. 10 and 12. Mall security is also investigating the crime. The way information has been transferred has police feeling "frustrated." Chief Bilodeau reported he's spoken to mall security, and encourages all parties to promptly report suspected crimes.
