This Just In..There’s Another Big Football Game Saturday
It has just come to my attention that there is a local youth football team named The Seacoast Sharks, and they are kicking off the season this Saturday.
Of course all of us at the Shark root for teams with our moniker, so I'm psyched that we have a local team in the mix.
The Seacoast Sharks are an indoor youth football team consisting of mostly 5th graders from Dover, Portsmouth and Greenland schools, and it turns out they are fans of 1021 and 1053 The Shark! I'm not sure, but I'd like to think they named their team after their favorite radio station.
The Seacoast Sharks are having their first indoor football game of the season tomorrow against the Raymond "Nor-Rock" Vikings at 4:30 at the NH Sportsplex, and we are happy to wish them good luck, good health, and a game well played!
