At first glance, this picture of John Lennon alongside the cast of 'Happy Days' looks like a fake, but it is very real. And the story behind it 'feels so right' that it 'can't be wrong'.

This occurred during Lennon's 2 year hiatus from Yoko Ono that many have referred to as 'The Lost Weekend' circa 1973-74. Lennon lived in LA and was romantically linked to May Pang. He and his son Julian did indeed visit the set of 'Happy Days' in January of '74 when this picture was taken.

If you're anything like me, you're probably saying 'Wow! John Lennon got to meet The Fonz? Must be nice to be a Beatle?!" But of course, much like tv character Ralph Malph, I say this in jest.

For an added twist and a Throwback Thursday double shot, you'll never guess who beat up The Fonz with some heinous Karate. Yes, that's none other than Tom Hanks in a post Shark Jump episode. And his comedic timing is way sharper than his martial arts skills.
