I'll admit it, I no longer look forward to snowstorms. I don't play in them anymore, I battle them. This video reminds me of when I'd get excited about snow storms. When I was a kid, we used to build these types of snow runs all the time. We'd spend hours designing the track, then building it and maintaining it and of course, riding it.

Parents loved it because we'd be outside almost the whole day, which is important especially during Christmas and February vacations. I was partial to my Flexible Flyer, but I do admit those plastic saucers could give you some speed, but not a lot of control. I found that out first-hand one Christmas vacation when I hit a jump and almost broke my ankle.
