This STD is on the Rise in Southern NH, Up Sixty-Seven Percent Since Last Year

The Division of Public Health Services Bureau of Infectious Disease Control says that most of the cases come from one county.

According to the official New Hampshire DHHS health alert there has been a 67% increase in case reports of Gonorrhea since 2015, most of them coming from Hillsborough County.

The report finds that the most impacted by gonorrhea have been males, under 40 years old who reside in Hillsborough County, and also says cases in Merrimack, Rockingham, and Strafford counties are also on the rise.

Overall the state seems to be experiencing a major problem with gonorrhea and needs to take care of itself before we see another increase next year.
