April 18, 1975:
Four Bay City Rollers fans were taken to hospital and 35 others required on site treatment after they attempted to swim across a lake in England to meet their heroes.
April 19, 1980:
32 year old English singer Brian Johnson joined AC/DC, replacing Bon Scott who had died after a night of binge drinking in February 1980.
April 20, 1993:
Aerosmith released 'Get A Grip' their 11th studio album which became their best selling album to date with sales over 20 million.
April 22, 2015:
Phil Rudd, drummer of AC/DC changed his plea to guilty on a charge of a threat to kill, in a court in New Zealand. The court heard Rudd was unhappy about his album's launch party and asked for a former employee to be "taken out". He had previously denied the charge.
April 23, 1978:
Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi made their first ever appearance as The Blues Brothers when they appeared on'Saturday Night Live'.
