Just before 11am, Farmington High School was ordered to evacuate as a bomb threat was found on a restroom wall.

The evacuation was ordered just before 11 a.m. Police said the threat to blow up the school was found scrawled on the wall of a boys restroom.

The school was evacuated for two hours while police and bomb-sniffing dogs searched the building. Nothing was found, and students were allowed to return to class.

Police in Portsmouth were responding to a threat that was called into Portsmouth High School on Tuesday. While fire officials and police searched the building, the students stayed in place, as police believed the threat to be unfounded.

Similar threats to the one in Portsmouth were received in some Massachusetts schools on Tuesday as well. These threats came over the phone. The FBI is investigating the Massachusetts threats.
