(Dover, NH) - Police have charged three Rochester residents after a 2-month investigation into an assault in the McDonald's drive-through lane.

The incident occurred on the night of March 10th when one car cut off another in the drive though lane and the occupants assaulted the married couple in their 40's that were in the vehicle that had been cut off. The couple was treated at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital after the assault.

After a lengthy investigation, Dover Police identified the suspects and issued warrants for their arrests. The three turned themselves in this week.

24 year old Champion Sprague, 32 year old Robert Gorham and 26 year old Megan O'Neill all face a felony count of Riot.

Sprague was also charged with misdemeanor Criminal Mischief and Simple Assault.

Gorham was also charged with felony Second Degree Assault and misdemeanor Attempted Simple Assault. O'Neill also faces a misdemeanor Simple Assault charge.

The trio was freed on P.R. bail and face arraignment in Strafford County Superior Court in two weeks.
