Today In Music History: Ringo Says “No No” To Fan Mail [VIDEO]

It's simply one of my favorite Ringo moments. 

On this date in 2008, Ringo posted this video on his website basically giving fans a week heads up that he will no longer be signing any pieces of memorabilia that arrives to him in the mail. As he alludes to in the video, he's simply too busy.

Now I get that being one of the most famous and recognizable people in the world can be taxing and time consuming trying to fill obligations and the like. And when I heard this declaration, I was expecting a huge new project from Ringo. Still waiting.
