With the Red Sox clipping along breaking new records every minute, today we decided to focus on the different creatures scurrying and swimming throughout their dugout.

If you missed out on the news last Tuesday night, a rat was running amok throughout the Red Sox dugout which, understandably, caused quite a ruckus.

Tom Caron's further embellishment on previous rodent problems at Fenway (before the renovation) were hilarious.

I cannot even imagine what it would be like to enter the old NESN studio (located in Fenway until 2012) in the middle of winter, the park completely abandoned expect for a few thousand rats. TERRIFYING.

I would also like to add that I was not exaggerating when I said that fish would swim throughout the dugout as well. Until the recent drainage renovation was completed, if the rainfall was heavy for more than two days, fresh water minnows would swim throughout the flooded dugout, presumably from the nearby Charles River.

It was quite a 'Wild Kingdom' episode of The Red Sox Insider Report today!

Thanks to Tom Caron and Service Credit Union for making it happen!
