Officials say the discovery of Triple E is a reminder that we need to protect ourselves from mosquito-borne diseases by using insect repellent, avoid being outdoors at dawn and dusk, and removing standing water from around our homes where mosquitos reproduce.

There have been no human cases of Triple E or West Nile Virus in NH this year.

Communities will begin spraying for mosquitos this week.
