The much maligned holiday fruitcake gets a nice redemption in this 'spirited' recipe. It's got more types of booze in it than Santa has reindeer!

My Aunt Bea (yes, I had an Aunt Bea) used to make a great fruitcake with rum and it's been years since I've had a traditional one. Perhaps today is the day to make that happen. I hope I can afford all the ingredients at the liquor store.
