The election is over and Donald Trump is our President elect.The final results were not known until almost 3 this morning. Trump says he received a phone call from Hillary Clinton, congratulating him on his victory. Trump says he's pledging to be a President "for all Americans."

The Republicans have kept control of both houses of Congress, the first time that one party has held the White House, the Senate and House since the first two years of Barack Obama's presidency.

New Hampshire voters elected Chris Sununu as Governor and reelected Annie Kuster to the House in the second congressional district.  Carol Shea-Porter was declared the winner in the tight race in the first district. The Senate race between Kelly Ayotte and Maggie Hassan has yet to be decided.

Maine voters reelected Chellie Pingree and Bruce Poliquin to the U.S. House. Voters also approved the ballot question to overhaul the way elections are conducted. the question on legalizing marijuana is still too close to call.

Massachusetts voted approved the recreational use of marijuana.

Maine voters did approve the question in increasing the minimum wage.

There has still been no call on the question of expanding gun background checks.
