This short film by HigtonBrothers is spot on as to the reality that your friends might be stretching the truth about their lives just a bit.

With a few exceptions, most of the people I know on Facebook are living wondrously fabulous lives and love sharing that fact with everyone and it is indeed easy to start feeling lacking. But are they all really that happy?

For the most part, Facebook posts show the positive side of our lives, and usually not the boring, mundane aspects that make up most of hours.

But, take this as food for thought the next time you see a post of one of your friends that includes a picture of them surrounded by wonderful scenery. The car with smoke coming out from under the hood is probably just out of the frame.
