I've been dreading my 'Turkish Get Ups' since I woke up this morning. Thankfully, I found this EXTREME version of the exercise that makes me happy that I only lift a 10 pound kettle bell.

Just recently, my trainers at Fit Body Transformations in Brentwood, have added 5 calf raises at the end of my 'TGU'. After watching Jeff Martone and Anna Browne's variation (above), I will stop complaining about the calf raises IMMEDIATELY.

In closing, I'd like to end this post by stating that Turkish Get Ups are the best exercises for strengthening the entire body as well as balance. I may whine about doing them but they have made all the difference in my training regimen.
