U.S. Women’s Soccer Team Advances And Will Face China Friday

The U.S. Women's Soccer team defeated Colombia 2-0 last night in the second round of the 2015 FIFA World Cup. They will face China Friday at 7:30 in the quarterfinals.

These two teams have met three times. The U.S. has a win and two draws against China. China is ranked 16th in the world, while the U.S. is 2.

Unfortunately, Megan Rapinoe and Lauren Holiday will not be available to play. This is going to be a tough match anyway, but without the experience of those two, the U.S. could be in trouble.

This team is deep though and they can certainly defeat China, especially when you have the best goaltender in the world in Hope Solo. Look for Sydney Leroux to run wild during this game.

The winner of this match faces the winner of the France-Germany game.
