UNH Football Retains Musket, Earns At-Large Playoff Spot

The UNH football team had a pretty exciting weekend first defeating University of Maine on Saturday and then earned one of 14 at-large playoff spots on Sunday.

After beating the Black Bears 22-6 on Saturday, the Wildcats found out Sunday morning during the NCAA FCS Championship Selection Show that they'll play host to Colgate on Saturday, November 28th at 3:30 p.m. at Cowell Stadium for the first round game.

The first round matchup between the Wildcats and Raiders can be seen on ESPN3, or heard on the Wildcat Sports Network.

The winner of that game will go on to play No. 5 seed James Madison University on Saturday, December 5th at 1:00 p.m.

Hopefully the Wildcats can give Cowell Stadium a closing ceremony to remember. Saturday's playoff game will be the last game played at Cowell Stadium before the new Wildcat Stadium is in use for 2016.
