Here is a list of Veterans Day parades and observances

BERWICK

Charles S. Hatch Post #79, The American Legion, will host a special service at Lord's Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, Veterans Day.

DOVER

City Hall Ceremony — Veterans Day Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the City Hall Auditorium.
Children's Museum — Visitors at the Children's Museum of New Hampshire on Veterans Day will be treated to patriotic music and an indoor parade, thanks to the efforts of Kappa Kappa Psi, a band fraternity at the University of New Hampshire.

HAMPTON

Assorted events — American Legion Post 35 Memorial Day events: 8 a.m. Monday at the Hampton Beach War Memorial, 9 a.m. at the Weare Common in Hampton Falls; 10 a.m. North Hampton Parade-service town library; 11 a.m., Hampton Parade Service at High Street Cemetery.

MILTON

Ceremony — The public is invited to a short ceremony in Veterans' Park at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11 to mark Veterans Day. It will be conducted by VFW Post 8393, with the Union VFW Post and American Legion Post 61 in attendance.

PORTSMOUTH

Parade — The Portsmouth Veterans Day parade will step off at approximately 10:35 a.m. at the V.F.W. on Deer Street and proceed to Goodwin Park. A ceremony will be held at Goodwin Park at 11 a.m. All are invited to march or attend the ceremony.

ROCHESTER

Two ceremonies — In celebration of Veterans Day, the Rochester Veterans Council invites residents to two ceremonies taking place Tuesday, to honor those who served.

At the Rochester Common Tuesday morning, a ceremony will take place at the Prisoners of War memorial, starting at 10 a.m. Members of the council will raise the flag, and place wreaths to honor all five branches of the U.S. military the Army, the Marine Corp, the Air Force, the Navy, and the Coast Guard.

At 7 p.m. Tuesday, a memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 34 South Main St. in downtown Rochester. The ceremony will include a guest speaker and recognition of the five military branches.

SOMERSWORTH

American Legion ceremony — Veterans Day Ceremonies will be held at 7 p.m. at the American Legion, Post 69, Constitutional Way.

SOUTH BERWICK,

Flag collection — On Saturday, Nov. 15, at 9 a.m., meet at Woodlawn Cemetery to collect veterans' flags at South Berwick cemeteries.

Flag retirement — On Saturday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m., a flag retirement ceremony with VFW and Cub Scouts will meet at Mr. Kenney's at 57 Agamenticus Road.

The Boy Scouts will be conducting the flag retirement ceremony and narration.
