I used The State House for a featured image of this story because no individual screenshot seems to do justice to this car crash footage from a police chase last week in Concord.

WMUR-TV reports that Chad Glodgett, 34, is still at large after fleeing police in Chichester, NH last week with a stolen Mercury Mountaineer. He and his passenger Chris Stafford, 34, we being pursued by authorities because they were accused of an attempted breaking and entering charge in Chichester.

Luckily, no one appears to have been injured by the head on collision.

THEN, the abandoned Mountaineer seems to have a mind of its own as it drives in reverse with both doors open, backs through the the intersection unharmed and then PERFECTLY drives backwards through the right hand lane until it's out of the camera's view.

Watch it again and you'll see the terrible luck of the other driver and the good luck of the two pedestrians. Across the street, you'll see a car very calmly getting out of the way of the oncoming Mountaineer.

I can't remember the last time I've seen such fascinating footage and it happened right here in the Granite State!

As of publishing time, Chad Glodgett is still at large and if you have any information regarding his whereabouts, you are very much encouraged to contact either The Concord Police Department or The Chichester PD.
