Tom Brady made his first public comments since the release of the Deflategate report in an interview with Jim Gray at Salem State University last night.

The interview, more like a Q&A, was a previously scheduled event. One that is put on by the Salem State Foundation.

We didn't hear much from Brady on the report during the interview. Only that he hadn't read it yet, but he will, and will respond very soon. That's code for: "my lawyers are digging through it and I will fight back."

Not known for his tactfulness, I thought Jim Gray did a pretty good job getting the deflategate nonsense out of the way early. He then settled down with some good questions about life, and football.

The NFL is expected to make a ruling on the Wells report findings today, or Monday.
