Nate Jones of Somersworth was sitting on the front steps of the Dover Brickhouse waiting for a cab when he was violently punched in the face, by a stranger, breaking his jaw in two places. His attacker is still out there and Nate could use some help.

On April 2nd, 33-year-old Nate was found unconscious and bleeding in front of the Brickhouse that night. He was there to celebrate his brother's birthday before his brother's deployment to Afghanistan. He was taken to Wentworth Douglass Hospital and was moved to Massachusetts General Hospital where they wired his jaw shut so it could heal properly.

He eats every meal through a straw and has had to close the restaurant, Jimmy Jones Locker, that he and his father run together. Clearly, Nate Jones could use some assistance.

A donation page has been set up and almost $6,000 has been raised. The goal is $25,000.

There is also a benefit for Nate at the Dover Brickhouse tomorrow night (Thursday April 16th) beginning at 8PM. Rev. Todd Seely and Nick Barbarian will provide the entertainment. NO COVER CHARGE! Donations are accepted. DONATE PLEASE! All proceeds go to Nate for medical expenses and lost work.

The other part of this story is that the horrible human being that sucker punched Nate is still on the streets. Let's identify this coward and bring him to justice. Contact the Dover Police Department if you have any information.
