Brewers in South Australia have concocted a new brew called Moby Dick Ambergris Ale. The word "ambergris" is otherwise known as whale vomit.

Ambergris forms in the intestines of sperm whales to help with the digestion process. When the whale dies, it gets vomited into the ocean as a waxy, solid substance.

Believe it or not, these pieces of whale vomit has been used for centuries in everything from medicines to perfume. And now beer.

Those who have dared try it, comment that it tastes like the sea and marine animals.

Yum!

Well, as enticing as whale vomit brew sounds, sadly it won't be available at Seacoast On-Tap, which is quickly coming up, June 25th at the Raitt Farm in Eliot, Me.

However, there will be over 100 craft brews for you to sample, so beer lovers rejoice!
