Who Should Star in the All-Female Ghostbusters?

Paul Feig revealed that he will be directing a new Ghostbusters film that will star “Hilarious women.”

The Ghostbusters are coming back and it looks we will be calling some ladies over to take care of our supernatural problems.

Paul Fieg made an announcement on Twitter yesterday that he will join established comedy writer Katie Dippold in making Ghostbusters 3. The rebooted franchise will take place in a new universe outside of the original movies.

Of course, one should expect at least a cameo or two.

Fieg told Entertainment Weekly that he chose to renew the idea with leading ladies because he loves seeing hilarious women take the spotlight.

“My favorite thing to do is work with funny women. I was like, what if it was an all female cast? If they were all women?  Suddenly, my mind kind of exploded: that would be really fun.”

The question now is which of the many female comedic giants will be chosen to don the Proton packs and heed the call for ghostbusting. Personally,my top choices are Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig. Of course, there are so many more to choose from...who else should make the team?
