It's best to prepare yourself for what could be a wild afternoon of weather for some parts of New England, including southern New Hampshire.

According to Meteorologist Kevin Skarupa from WMUR, today will start off sunny and some regions could see temps hitting close to 80 degrees, but we could have some gusty winds, scattered afternoon/evening storms including lightning and the possibility of small hail.

Kevin says the time frame for the possible wild weather is between 1p and 6pm. After the storm rolls out, we'll be looking at clearing skies with lows ranging from 42-52 degrees.

Wednesday is looking to be cooler with partly sunny skies.

Be careful on the roads during the afternoon and evening hours. Make sure your wipers are in proper working condition, you're probably going to need them!
