Witchy Woman Wednesday with Mrs. Oleson

I have a horrible confession to make, I'm a 'Little House On The Prairie' superfan and I haven't been able to stop watching The Hallmark Channel marathons.

I've been watching at least 2 episodes of this classic show every afternoon and it's all because of the wicked antics of Katherine MacGregor. Her portrayal of Harriet Oleson is brilliant.

I've always heard it's very difficult for an actor to play a villain that is truly horrible yet, so entertaining that the audience still embraces them.

I can safely say, that if it wasn't for Mrs. Oleson, I'd spend those 3 hours everyday watching something other than the maudlin misery of Minnesota circa 1874.
