There are many in New Hampshire who are keen on bringing the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's rail service to our border.

This much-debated idea is gaining momentum as New Hampshire and Massachusetts officials explore the idea once again, according to The Nashua Telegraph.

A planned project would bring the rail to the border of Nashua and Massachusetts, but it is unclear who would bear responsibility for the operating costs. Officials want to get a sense of how many commuters would use the rail before expanding too far into the state.

This idea could be a part of the proposed construction of a southbound off ramp at Exit 36 near Tynsborough.
