I thought that Carly Simon's timeless hit 'You're So Vain' was going to be shrouded in mystery until the end of time. It turns out, I was wrong. But not completely wrong.

I guess Warren Beatty IS in fact one of the subjects of this '72 chart topper, but ONLY the second verse. There are also two other men that inspired this classic as well, and they will remain a mystery.

UNLESS, according to Simon, she tells either of them personally. She never thought she'd admit that the song was about more than one man and is in disbelief that people still care about this so much after 44 years. Her new memoir 'Boys In The Trees', is available for purchase starting Tuesday, November 24th.
