These Maine Restaurants Will Be Open On Thanksgiving in 2025

Thanksgiving has traditionally been one of those holidays that has always been celebrated with a home cooked feast.

Or, that's what TV and movies would have you believe, at least.

The reality is that many people don't want to task one or two people with preparing a massive meal while everyone else just sits around drinking beer and watching football.  When you think about it, it really is not fair that mom always has to spend the majority of her day in the kitchen.  She has to waste the majority of her day.

That's one of the reasons that taking the family out for Thanksgiving is so appealing to so many people.

Additionally, if you are unlucky enough to not have a close group of family or friends around on the holiday, you don't have many options.  You either end up having a Swanson's TV dinner or you go out for Thanksgiving.
