Obviously, we live in a world where real estate prices are out of reach for many Americans - but parking too? Parking is extremely limited in Boston, and as you get into niche neighborhoods, like Beacon Hill - fuhgeddaboudit. But if you have a ton of money, there's a prime parking spot for sale in the Brimmer Street Garage.
Your Boston, Massachusetts parking spot costs more than your house
According to Car Scoops, this single space in Beacon Hill’s Brimmer Street Garage is currently listed for $750,000. Oh, and the parking garage is not a 24/7 accessible garage. For three-quarters of a million dollars, you can only access the staffed garage, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and from 6:30 a.m. to midnight on weekends. Want to leave in the middle of the night? If you want any time outside of the hours, you need to make arrangements ahead of time.

Location, location, location...
This garage is close to everything. It's a block from the Boston Public Garden, half a mile from the State House, and only a seven-minute stroll to the esplanade and the Charles River. But, if you have a truck you're outta luck. They have lots of spiffy things like refueling, charging, washing, and a couple of other fancy things your nearly 1 million dollars got your car...but NO TRUCKS!
That $750,000 parking spot in Boston, has other fees you need to pay too!
Let's say you do have a ton of money and love convenient parking in Boston, get ready to pay even more for your spot. Car Scoops also pointed out that the Beacon Hill parking spot also comes with about $400 in monthly HOA fees, $291 in property taxes, and around $200 in homeowners insurance. So add another $10,000 a year...just to park your car.
