(That's the 6th oldest family business in Maine) I'm sure they've had many offers over the years, and they are staying with the family. 4th and 5th generations are involved in keeping us in flannel. They employ 3,300 people in 7 locations.

Violet Cormier founded Funtown Splashtown USA (#7) with her husband Ken in 1967. Violet is a kick in the pants and I've had the pleasure of meeting her. She is loved and still comes to work every day. She will be 90 this year and is one amazing woman with an incredible story. Violet Cormier and Funtown Splashtown is the only family-owned business in Maine that still has the first-generation working. You go, Violet!
