Football is back, and a new era for New England has begun.

The Patriots kicked off their 2024 season with a hard-fought victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on September 8.

What a way to start Week 1 for new coach Jerod Mayo and his team.

Rhamondre Stevenson scored the only Patriots touchdown of the game, while quarterback Jacoby Brissett and the rest of the team drove down the field to score a series of field goals to end the game 16-10.

Better luck next time, Joe Burrow.

Let's go, Pats!

It's still hard to believe that the days of the GOAT Tom Brady and legendary coach Bill Belichick are over. Those two having secured six Super Bowl titles together is incredible and produced some amazing moments and years that New England fans got to watch.

Who can't help but think of the Patriots overcoming that 28-3 deficit against the Atlanta Falcons? Or what about Malcom Butler snagging that football to secure the win against the Seattle Seahawks?

So what will Mayo and his new era of Patriots bring?

Well, for New England fans, it’s satisfying to start the season with a win for sure.

With this performance, the Patriots showed they’re ready to compete and perhaps surprise a few people this year. If today’s game is any indication, it will be an exciting season ahead in Foxborough.

Who else is already ready for next Sunday? Let's go!
